The Secure Care Products,® Inc. Wandering Resident ID system is capable of identifying each resident by name, room number, and transmitter ID code as well as exit location.

When the exit is approached by a monitored resident, the system will identify the resident by name, lock the door and report the attempted exit to the nurse console or Secure Care Software monitoring station. The nurse console will display the residents name, room number and the exit location. Secure Care Software provides your staff with a clear graphical display of the monitored floor plan and all the Secure Care devices within your building.

If several residents attempt to exit, all will be uniquely identified and displayed. The Secure Care Software monitoring station supervises the entire system and will immediately report any system problems. With the use of a digital camera, a residents picture can be simply uploaded to the database and associate a resident tag or transmitter number with a picture of the resident which will be displayed on the screen during an alarm.

Additional security may be provided by programming the system to automatically lock a door during the hours of your choice. Typically this is used to secure a facility during the night-time hours, adding to the peace of mind provided through owning the Secure Care system.
