How the ENVisionIT® Real-Time Locating System Works
The ENVisionIT® real-time location system is an electronic tracking device that uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to provide accuracy to within +/- one foot. It works by attaching it to your patient’s or loved one’s clothes or, and then choosing your home or senior living facility as one of several safe areas on a map. If they were to stray outside of those safe zones, an alert will be sent to you or someone else on their contact list via text message.
